NEXT LEVEL VAPING

August 8, 2017 By admin

Why do people vape?

  1. It is their way to quit smoking. Breaking the habit is a hard process. Because nicotine – a major content in cigarettes is highly addictive, quitting becomes harder. In vaping, you get less of that nicotine, you get to do the same routines, but it’s heat that you release in through vapor, and not actual smoke.
  2. It is a way to explore. Since vapes are so interesting especially with the colors and the flavors available, adventurous individuals would venture into vaping. It is their way of expressing the adventurous in them.
  3. It will help you cope with stress. Like cigarettes, vaping can also help in coping with stress, with less harm, of course!

But aside from these reasons, certain vapers get into vaping because it’s their way of expressing themselves. With the wide range of vape available out there, you can easily determine who’s starting and who’s not. There is a distinction from one vaper to another.

Now, have you ever considered taking your vape to the next level? Have you grown tired of what you own? Have you though about the greater possibility and opportunity if you got an upgrade?

NICOTINE REGULATION TO TURN SMOKERS INTO VAPERS

August 8, 2017 By admin

FDA’s recent announcement requiring cigarette manufacturers to lessen the nicotine content in every cigarette may lead smokers to using vape instead.

Just last month, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) released a statement that the agency would consider lessening the levels of nicotine found in cigarettes to which is aimed at making cigarettes less addictive. – Source: Vape News Magazine

“The agency (FDA) plans to issue this guidance describing a new enforcement policy shortly. Under expected revised timelines, applications for newly-regulated combustible products, such as cigars, pipe tobacco and hookah tobacco, would be submitted by Aug. 8, 2021, and applications for non-combustible products such as ENDS or e-cigarettes would be submitted by Aug. 8, 2022.”
“In order to further explore how best to protect public health in the evolving tobacco marketplace, the agency also will seek input from the public on a variety of significant topics, including approaches to regulating kid-appealing flavors in e-cigarettes and cigars.” – more here

This has recently divided the online community. Long-time smokers who started smoking as teens look at this as an opportunity to quit smoking. While non-smokers look at this as a relief, tobacco companies have been on the rocks because of this statement.

In an interview with Bloomberg.com, Peruz Nazli, a resident from New York said she was thrilled of the plans issued by the agency saying “It’ll be easier to quit,” and she added “People look at us different.”

For a smoker turned vaper like Kevin Cleare who also had an interview with Bloomberg.com, “I’m so disgusted with cigarettes — the smell, the taste,” he said. “This is a fair, reasonable compromise.”

This announcement is beneficial to some but to big tobacco companies like the Altria Group Inc. and the British American Tobacco Plc. this can mean their extinction. In an interview with Bloomberg Vivien Azer, a research analyst with Cowen & Co who follows big tobacco industries, says that “Everyone seems to be leaning in heavily into ‘heat not burn.”

“The FDA’s initiative may upend the $130 billion American tobacco industry. It’s also likely to set off a ferocious lobbying and legal war in Washington, and push the cigarette industry to develop products that rely less on burning carcinogenic tobacco and more on delivering doses of nicotine through cleaner vapor. Smoking-related illnesses cost $300 billion a year, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.” – Source: Bloomberg.com

Major bans from smoking, and different ad campaigns against smoking has been issued in the past but smoking is still present up to now, FDA hopes that through the newly issued regulations, this can lessen the amount of smokers and break the habit.
